Georgia Senate Run-Off Virtual Event

Georgia Senate Run-Off Virtual Event Tuesday, December 8th | 4:30 PM CST Sponsored in part by The Lake Highlands White Rock Democrats https://secure.actblue.com/donate/ufg-120820-zoom

Do you want to make a difference in the Georgia Senate runoff elections? We have an exciting proposition for you.

Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Remedy PAC have teamed up with Georgia U.S. Representatives Lucy McBath, Hank Johnson, and Sanford Bishop to launch the Remedy PAC/United for Georgia.

  • Eric Swalwell has added his field team to the mix; they are there on the ground in Georgia

  • Remedy PAC has been extremely successful in its digital campaigns (including the “Only the Young” ad, which was the first and only time Taylor Swift has allowed her music to be used in a political ad and received almost 9M views) and will be adding to the Georgia plan

  • Remedy PAC is partnering with Georgia elected officials, including Rep. McBath, Rep. Johnson, and Rep. Bishop to guide the efforts and make sure they are focusing efforts where it matters in Georgia instead of parachuting in

  • There are three Georgia organizations that they are supporting to increase the scope of the groundwork (GALEO – Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials, The New Georgia Project, and Georgia Stand-Up), all of which are focused GOTV and voter registration

To help fund this important effort, WDUA is co-sponsoring a low-dollar, grassroots fundraiser. We are partnering on this event with other Dallas grassroots activists groups, including The FEDDS (Funky East Dallas Democrats), RAD (Richardson Area Democrats), LHWR (Lake Highlands White Rock Democrats), PCDWA (Park Cities Democratic Women’s Association), Stonewall Democrats of Dallas and East Dallas County Area Democrats.

We believe, with all of our Dallas grassroots groups combined, we can raise a large total sum for the committed Georgia activists and, if Democrats win the two Senate seats, we will be aiding our country in the most profound way.

The November election was powered by We the People and grassroots organizations made the difference, but our obligation to make real change in our nation's leadership continues. On January 5th, Georgia voters will decide who controls the U.S. Senate. Joe and Kamala's success depends on the outcome of this election. We want to make it clear to the entire nation that grassroots organizations, such as ours, have the power to affect the outcome of these important races. Make your voice heard!

Please donate and join us for a great event.
